After 90-100 hours of programming, set up, machining and deburring it is finished. Machined out of a block of cast iron, this is going in a pump that has roughly 600 hp and rated at 1,000 gph @ 1,600 psi.
With a 12” scale for reference.

The last Medal of Honor recipient from WWII passed away yesterday. All these guys were hard asses but some stood above everyone else. The story of this guy is unreal. And watch the video, it’s pretty good.
A couple of rides from today.
1957?
This is a horrible picture I know, but I’m digging those white walls.
I’m glad you went ahead with it instead of listening to the naysayers. Tell the stoner to just pass it and shut up.
Took the kiddos to check out the Goodyear blimp while it’s here for the PGA Championship. Much bigger on the ground than it looks in the air.
Bonus points if you can identify this one I also saw today. I covered the N number so it wouldn’t be so easy.
The house ac and stolen truck suck. As does the campers. But I don’t feel bad for you for the sun burn. There are ways to prevent that.
A win is surely headed your way after all of that.
McDonald’s coke is superior to all others.
And that car in the fast lane better move it’s ass.
Heli-coils are good for light duty stuff like that. For a more solid hold we use these. We make a lot of aluminum parts that have these installed so the alum. threads don’t get pulled out.
This place has some sweet stuff but man ate they expensive.
The guy we got it from never finished it. Was a friend of my dads. This guy had one the he did finish and turned into a tail dragger. Like these planes weren’t already dangerous enough. He flew it one time lol.
I think we had to book one. But that was 4 years ago. It did take her 3 times to get her learners permit.
That’s sucks. I’d love to go there. I see they have one of these. Not sure if it’s still on display or not. We have one of these in our shop that never got finished. Prolly a good idea.
My oldest kid didn’t start driving until after she was 16. So we did the “home taught” drivers ed. But we did have to go to Muskogee for her to take her test. Everything here was booked solid. They got her in and out. Wasn’t to bad really.
And she could parallel park the 98 Mercury Grand Marquis no problem.
