After 90-100 hours of programming, set up, machining and deburring it is finished. Machined out of a block of cast iron, this is going in a pump that has roughly 600 hp and rated at 1,000 gph @ 1,600 psi.

Heli-coils are good for light duty stuff like that. For a more solid hold we use these. We make a lot of aluminum parts that have these installed so the alum. threads don’t get pulled out.

My oldest kid didn’t start driving until after she was 16. So we did the “home taught” drivers ed. But we did have to go to Muskogee for her to take her test. Everything here was booked solid. They got her in and out. Wasn’t to bad really.
And she could parallel park the 98 Mercury Grand Marquis no problem.
