It's been a while Oppo.
This summer I'm rebuilding an LS3 for my 86 Monte SS.
Well I guess rebuilt past tense would be the better choice of words.
LS3 bored .010 over, Mahle Forged Pistons with a slight dome for 11.1:1 Compression, Callies Compstar H-Beam rods, Improved Racing crankshaft scraper and windage tray, Holley 302-2 pan with a trapdoor baffled sump. Johnson short travel lifters, Summit Stage IV Cam 234/248 duration .625/.605 lift 114 LSA. LS3 heads with Comp Roller Trunnion Rockers, stainless Ferrea valves and Inconel exhaust valves topped with a cool Ilmor Marine intake. I have long tube headers and a 3inch exhaust already installed on the LQ4 in the car.
I also picked up a twin disc clutch and a new T56 Magnum to put behind it.
Oh and a UMI corner max front suspension kit is on its way as well.
I might have gone a little crazy.
I'm taking off the week of July 4th to swap all of that into the car.
