@TheTurbochargedSquirrel That's how we get Ronal Teddybear OppO

@i86hotdogs Hey! Finally jumped ship to the "new" Oppo and this is my first comment, so I hope I'm doing this right.
Are those SHO wheels on the van? How do they fit?
WHOA that is actually rare as hell. International trim levels were HIGHLY regional, and until a few years ago, nobody knew if they ever made a SnoStar truck. The first known one was found in back of a school district as their plow truck. I don't know if any others have popped up since then, but this is the second one I know of.
I'm still mad I didn't buy an Outlaw Scout II, since even googling it only gave photos of one guys truck from the 80s, the brochure and the one on Copart I was looking at.
God I love that. I keep seeing them pop up and want one, but I've got an 02 Tundra with 570k on it that is well on its way to being an old truck like this. Wouldn't go for a 360 but if I found a 390 or 460 C6 Highboy or Super Camper Special I'd be ALL over it.
Pre-76 for CA, btw
This warmed over 429 Ranchero was 5k 2 years ago
@MasterMario Oh FUCK yes never change a thing (unless you colormatch the inside of the Turbines to match the red)
@WhoIsTheLeader Ayy! Mine is an 02 TRD Limited too, but body color bumper 2wd. Ditched the stickers and the silver on the door bumpers during the repaint but didn't have the heart to ditch the badges too. Let me dig up the photos real quick. Mine is also super original (factory alt at 375k, killed fuel pump at 495, still original spare used once etc.) and the frame is completely black so I think all the rust complains are user error. Hell, just towed my Monza back 600 miles and the only time I've ever seen the temp gauge go up was on the grapevine. Not going up on the trip, going up ever. 21 years on the 31st.
This was 2 years ago and just after 500k
And here's the crash. 19yo kid in a white RX450h (of course) made a u turn from the right lane... in front of me. Idiot.
That was the second front bumper it's had, first was taken out by a limo turning from an inside lane and putting a dent down its side from just behind the driver door to the back of the car. Same corner!
Rear's been hit too but that's not interesting, car behind car behind it missed that traffic stopped and thankfully the car between us had the wheels turned and only hit the passenger side.
@CarsOfFortLangley What good wheels those were. Sport

@jayvincent Ehhh, the early Fox is worse. The II at least had a good front suspension and no inline 6 and a 302. Early fox had an 86hp i6 and a 255
@annoying_salman If they allow SN95s they don't have a choice. My local slightly snobby mustang club has a 35th anniversary V6 convertible new edge missing trim but still always clean and two identical retro S197s. And yet, when I parked my II near them they said it was Mustang owner parking only (okay, the club is called the mustang owners club but still)
Funny thing is, guess which got the most attention.
@Dash-Doorhandle-and-Bondo The stories I heard when I had mine... What's funny is, it was never Their Car, it was always a friend or a relative. With a comedically bad color combo somehow. Mine, on the other hand, converted everyone who drove it into a fan of the car. Even the most die-hard Chevy guy I know wants one now.

@WilliamsSW Yeah, later Colonnades get worse as the years go on but the 73 looks different from those stodgy things. If it wasn't for the 72 strike it would have been a 72 Chevelle so I give that one a pass. Mom drove a Nova for school and absolutely hated it (68-72 with a 152 in it) but then she got a '77 Camaro new which made up for it.
I like the 68-72s but people ask WAY too much money for the Camry of their day, especially shells or 307/3spd cars. I would totally whip a sedan though, wagons and elcos as well. Colonnades are cool because they're not old man cars (my friend is the only person I know under 40 with a 2 door 68-72), the bumpers can actually take a bump (friend's 68 couldn't) and they have the far better rear axle as well as the Corporate suspension which is basically 2nd gen Camaro, shared with the 75+ Nova, 76+ Seville etc. Computer designed! Or something like that. Parts are dead easy and it's the only way to stand out with an A body. Also, swivel seats.
@WilliamsSW Yeah but then you have the dweeby side windows and taillights, plus the overall Suckage of a Nova. They were only good when they were cheap for the camaro subframes and now that they're Camaro prices for even 73-74s it's not that cool. Now, a 75 could be done well, but I'd rather go '73 Chevelle the way god intended. Only year for a 454SS wagon!
@WilliamsSW If the older ones had a hatch I'd be all in.
@DuckDuckGreyDuck NEED but with a no-prep drag setup
