Because you guys and gals are so nice I thought I'd share the most recent pictures that my wife sent me.
That smile melts my heart.
The nose feed tube should be out in about a week.
I want to seriously thank you guys for being so supportive of me and my family. It really means a lot.
Sorry for this not being car content, but life's been hard to deal with over the past couple months and I just wanted to say thank you for making it easier to deal with.
Never change. You all are awesome

OPPO the beer glass
I made a glass.
All you need is this shit.
Put that shit together, and rub some paste on it.
BAM!
Now I'm gonna use that shit.

Our daughter is healthy
She was having seizures caused by being poisoned by her perforated intestines. The surgery that fixed her on the inside has basically fixed everything. She is now healthy.
I've been going through a hard time over the last couple of weeks. You all have really helped to let me think of something else (anything else).
I thank you for being there in my time of need.
You probably didn't know you were helping, but you were.
Thank you.
It's so nice to have a place filled with nice people that care about each other. You all are awesome. Never change.
I don't care what your religion is, I don't care what color you are, I don't care who you want to be with.
Just keep being you.
I love you all for simply being yourself.
Cheers and happy holidays -
We bought a house
It's a real shit hole. We can't afford to continue renting in this area so we bought a crappy double wide.
Today we ripped out all the carpet and flooring.
probably going to leave the linoleum and put the new stuff on top of it. So we don't have to worry about the glue.
1750 square feet of smoke stained walls and the nastiest carpet I've ever seen.
We got an acre with a pond 30 feet behind our property.
I'm probably getting close to the picture limit so let's go to the comments section for the rest. -
The baby has arrived
My wife gave birth to our little girl Lily today at 1:30pm eastern time. All are healthy.
Have a drink tonight in celebration if you can -
Houselopnik
Our shit hole is starting to look like a house. I've been putting in the flooring with help from my wifes uncle Skip.
Baseboards still need installed, but we're close to having the flooring installed in most of the house.
the family room and 2 back bedrooms are done. The hallway from the family room is done.
Living room almost done. Needs the anchor strip next to the wall finished.
I still have Lily's bathroom, the AC opening, and a closet to do, but I needed to get to the kitchen today so that shit can wait.
I made it half way through the kitchen and into the pantry. I didn't expect to get this far today. Here's a picture from inside the pantry showing exactly what I need to finish tomorrow.
Hopefully I'm done tomorrow and can move on to baseboards. We need to start moving in on the 12th.
Most finish work will happen after we move. We just need the floor set by sun down on Thursday or we are fucked. Everything seems to be fitting into the timeline so far.I love the new ceiling fan.
We're going to be painting the walls after we move in. Along with finishing basically everything. -
Lily pics
Here she is looking like Bernie Lomax.
No pictures please.I SAID NO PICTURES!!!!
the swaddle looks warm and comfy. I'm gonna open a swaddle bar when covid is over.
She should be coming home in about a month. -
Lily
This'll probably be the last Lily post. She's doing great.
Sink bath
Me loving my sweetheart.
Before Lily was born I was in a bad place. I had spent 10ish years contemplating suicide.
Those feelings are gone now. I just want to hug my little girl now.
It's most excellent.
That is all. -
6 wheels or no wheels
I started an Audi.
It'll probably have to be taken apart to adjust the roofs.
But I wanted to put it together and see just how far I'd have to bend the roofs to get them flat. Maybe just cut out the parts where they meet and fill in the blank.
And... Lily is doing very good. She's out of the nicu and the nurses just adore her. They're having fun dressing her up every day. I couldn't be happier. -
Lily
She's doing great.
Thanks to all for the kind words over the last couple months.
I appreciate the support. It was a rough beginning.
Thankfully life has smoothed out.

@DipodomysDeserti
Looks to me like it started on the bottom edge in the center. Could be camera angle but that's what I see in the picture

@Highlander Even being homeless is expensive in the US of A.
There's no way that tent is going for $20 a night. $30 at least. Under a beautiful overpass like that...

when we lived in West Virginia
I seem to remember a story about a non profit that installed antennas all around the tops of WV hills, so that people could get free wifi. It wasnt fast, but it was free.
We were right on the Virginia line. No help like that for the people on the out skirts.

RE: UH Oh...Comcast customer service screwed up this time
@tophercrowder when we lived in West Virginia there was only one internet provider. Every year it would get slower. It got so bad that it wasn't worth having. We closed our account and went without for 6 months. When we had it hooked back up it was at full speed. So if you're in a rural area, being a new customer helps

@TheJWT what does one of these go for in freedom units?
I would take my super ugly car in black though.
As for the question of the thread, I lived in small towns for the last 20 years. Haven't seen much
