I decided that I wouldn’t use my track Miata aka Elmo to his full potential so I posted it up on FBM last Wednesday. After a very short test drive by a guy who could barely fit in the car (super tall and lanky) I got a deposit on Thursday after work. After the new owners came to pick him up, I went to our mutual CU and cashed the check. Left there feeling like a baller with an envelope of crisp bills.

I’ve been thinking about getting back into a “big” bike for a bit and was following this 2007 GSA on FBM. This generation of GSA is my favorite and a bike that I actually test drove back in 2008/09 thinking that I should be stupid and sell my soul for a $20k motorcycle.
Price was $8500 when I first saw it. The asking price slowly went down to $7000 on Saturday.
Since I was in the general vicinity of the seller on Saturday afternoon I asked to come check it out.
The seller was the second owner. He told me a bit about it’s history and that it went down to Argentina and back as well as out to Newfoundland with the original owner. He said he went out west with it.
My only question to him was “what’s your lowest price?” He immediately dropped it to $6000 since he pointed to a boat he just bought.
I said I’d be back on Sunday with cash.
