Went for a little ride today
About 80kms with my Dad. A little windy but a good ride.

Well Oppo it's done
3 motorcycles in a 8x6 shed.
All it took was a center stand for the Honda, 2 park-and-moves, and lifting pit stand for the Sherpa. -
Test drove some cars today
I had to take my 2010 Ranger in for the driver-side airbag recall, while at the dealer I decided to test drive a few things.
2022 Ford Maverick Lariat 2.0T AWD
This one had 16k km on it and was equipped with tow package, FX4 package, and the luxury package, with plain white exterior with oversized fender flares. Getting inside was easy due to the low sill height and neutral seat height, the interior was brown and blue with heated leather* seats and heated steering wheel. I very much appreciated the heated wheel on this chilly day, the seats were easy to find a comfortable position and the leather was very comfortable. The handling was good very car like with no untoward bumps or harshness, and flat cornering. The engine had plenty of power and the transmission was always in a gear that could use that engines torque to accelerate without hesitating. The all wheel drive system functioned seamlessly. This truck had lane keep assist, it was completely unobtrusive until I got on the highway and set adaptive cruise then it kept between the lanes all by itself which I thought was kinda neat. I didn't get a good look at the bed because it had a set of winter tires in it. The B&O sound system was terrible, possibly due to someone messing with the balance and equalizers, but I couldn't find the settings and didn't waste much time on it. There was a button for most of the climate controls except the mode select button brings up the options on the touch screen, so you can't see what it is set at, my feet got cold before I realized it was set to defrost only with no floor heat. All in though a Maverick will remain on my list of potential vehicles. I do still want to test a hybrid.
2022 Ford Bronco Black Diamond 4dr 2.3T Auto
This one had 3k km and optioned with the mid package, the carbonized grey paint had a slight blue tinge to it. Getting in was quite difficult there was no side steps equipped and the sill was as high as I could step before lifting myself up to the seat. The interior was all black and grey, I couldn't find a comfortable position with the manually adjustable seat, and the leather* wasn't very comfortable, my jacket and shirt rode up the seat back and made my skin sweaty. The heated seats on this were either not hot enough or too hot. The suspension was truck like but body roll was well controlled, I was expecting more roll from the off-road suspension. The 2.3 make plenty of power but in normal mode the 10spd auto does a poor job of putting the power to the wheels, resulting in either very slow acceleration or lots of rear wheel spin, thankfully this Bronco is equipped with auto transfer case and selecting sport mode this thing launches hard and shifts well. With the aggressive tires and soft-top there was lots of road noise. I would want to try a 2 door hard-top manual, to be certain but I wasn't too smitten with this.
*While writing this I checked the Ford website and found the neither of these trucks have leather seats, the Maverick has ActiveX (synth leather) the Bronco has marine grade vinylThe recall on my Ranger was completed in 2.5hrs so I didn't have to wait very long.

RE: Oppo meet pics
@just-jeepin The best thing with Oppo meet pics, is the eclecticism of the car choices.
