Too nice not to get her out. She is a mess, dusty and desperately needs a cleaning but that will probably have to wait for a few weeks. Amazing how much you get from a car that is old enough to drink.

@classicdatsundebate Hey I'm JeRC1500 and am very happy this place exists. Rare posts around my 996 and food but mostly comments. Got my 15 year old daughter addicted to BAT (just starting, the pictures are better than Craigslist) and enlisting her in my effort to get my wife to let us buy a space to store many more old cars than I can fit in my city garage.
Working towards the dream!
My daughter started drivers ed this month and has been looking at cars. This is the first one she shows me to consider for her first car. Has not quite figured out how BaT works as when she first looked the bids were in the 20's.
Told her that she should start on my 996 and maybe this can be later in her life.
@old-busted-hotness Absolutely should have thought of this. Thank you!
The wrecked cop cars from the Blues Brothers were all stacked in a salvage yard outside Chicago, think it was Lisle. Went there several times for various projects in the late 80's.
Full scene for your enjoyment!
The Mall of America has had one for a while. It is electric and the neon is a little much but it is fun!
@racinbob We had one of those touch control TVs growing up and tuning the individual buttons on the front was great. Had little film numbers you replaced in each of the windows next to the white pushbuttons with a little light behind it that showed the channel number.
So manual, never really worked on all of the channels.
Good memories, thanks @RacinBob
