UCI Nations Cup Cycling (pic heavy)
This weekend the UCI hosted the Track Nations Cup at the Mattamy National Cycling Center velodrome in Milton, Ontario. We originally only had tickets for the Saturday but liked the event so much we bought tickets for the Sunday as well. The events we saw on Saturday were:
- Women's Omnium
- Women's 500m t.t.
- Men's keirin
- Men's individual pursuit
- Men's madison
The events on Sunday included: - Men's omnium
- Men's sprint semi's and Final
- Women's keirin
- Women's Madison
The events were all cool but the best were probably the women's Omnium and the men's Madison. If you're not familiar with track Cycling the omnium is like the decathlon but with only 4 events during one evening. The events are 7.5km scratch, 7.5km tempo, elimination and 20km points race. The men's Madison was awesome because teams of 2 riders race for 50km or 200 laps with a sprint for points every 10 laps. The teammates trade off with a handling and some teams really whip their partner.
Lots of world and European champions also made the event more exciting

Motorcycle Wrenching
Was finally able to get some time/parts to get back to working on our Harley so was fun to get some work done.
Got the Tank, shifter, Hydraulic clutch, Battery box on. Was also able to mock-up the rear wheel but still need to finish the mounting for the rear brake switch.
Got the Carb, fuel line, rear master cylinder and rear sprocket cover all on. Still have to adjust the throttle cable, fix the seat and put the kickstart back on
Had to drill out the brake fitting to re-tap for the NPT fitting to reroute the brake line. The reason for this is because without doing it I wouldn't have been able to install the brake because the line would've hit the front fork leg. The only things left to do on the front are bleed the brake and install the speedo cable on the right hand side. All that's left to get it started is to finish the wiring which I'm really not looking forward to as it's not really straightforward.

Next Livewire bike close to Launch
Apparently during their recent earning's call Harley boss Jochen Zeitz said that the next bike in the Livewire range will be shown off in Q2.
I wonder how close they actually get to that Flat-Trackesque design concept. I also wonder at the price they will be targeting given it is said to be a middleweight and the recent cut in price of the Livewire.
More technical info on the Arrow platform in this article on motorcycle.com https://www.motorcycle.com/new-model-preview/livewire-s2-del-mar-middleweight-electric-to-debut-in-q2-2022.html

Project Vehicle Searching
With the Harley my dad and I are building almost done it's time to start looking for the next project.
I know generally what i'm looking for but had a question for the oppo hivemind. What are the best sites, other than make/model specific forums, to search large area's of the american south? The reason I wanna search the south is because while i can do rust repair I prefer to do as little as possible.
