Greatest name ever.

So the UK is having a bit of a gasoline crisis. Typically there are around 3000 drivers certified to transport petrol and diesel, however with brexit @10% of those are EU drivers that are no longer working in the UK. Combined with a variety of shortages the last few weeks, the government told people not to panic buy, so the first thing they did was panic buy(a la May Georgia panic buying). As such stations are running out. However there is one bright spot, and that is who the BBC sent to cover.

RE: Not a good time to be from LADA land
@Punkgoose17 @MisterButtercup their leopard 1s were both old, driven hard and poorly maintained. they only had a 105mm HEAT round which probably would be a challenge against an upgraded t-72b . also the armor give an advantage to the t72.
also their leopard 2 are the old configuration and shot down by Germany. -
RE: Not a good time to be from LADA land
@FourMalibus performance to move its bulk. Abrams is low 60s tons vs t72 mid 40s tons. NATO strategy was to defense, and stop hordes of soviet tanks, so being thirsty on the move was a low priority vs the gain of armor protection.

@CB domestically gmc make 2-3 times the profit of chevys due to loaded trim options.
Also the more dealers are more often partnered with Buick or Cadillac -
RE: Dis gon be good
@gettingoldercarguy @facw Ah. I took it as she had the kia (40k) and was buying a nissan 35k (total 75). not that she had paid 75k for a 40-50k suv

RE: Dis gon be good
@gettingoldercarguy why are they assuming the value of the telluride is 0?
not smart, but once she trades in the kia she should be getting at least 35k
I've been up since 4am what am i missing? -
RE: Tank you very much!
@facw said in Tank you very much!:
s not especially common, and could be attacked with less vulnerable air power, standoff weapo
the bradley does have firepower with the tow, but only has 2 of them before it has to retreat to a safe area and resupply. meanwhile an Abrams has 42.
"It might be useful for heavily fortified targets but it seems like that's not especially common, and could be attacked with less vulnerable air power, standoff weapons, and artillery"
all of those things are much more deadly to ifv, with less than 10% the equivalent protection.
