After much drama we have a house. There was one on the market that I thought we had but the wife freaked out and didn't want to sell. Two retired people in a 5000 square foot home and no children/grandchildren. Weird. Another house that we put an offer in on but were seriously outbid. Well, that offer fell through for some reason and we wound up getting it. It's a three car garage but it is very short in height, the quick jack will be tough to use. Additionally, the driveway is very steep. The good news is we have a house in a great area with fantastic schools.

That happened faster than I expected.
Our house sold for over list. On the market less than a week. Now just waiting to hear back from the Portland house.

My twins wanted a hot wheels city for their birthday. Wife said I overshot the mark.
I was quite pleased, but acknowledge it is a bit much. Still looking for more pieces. They love it, so I guess that's all that matters.

Psychic Secret Senna Secured
Got a Blip shift shirt with rally goodness.
And a key fob that I quickly repurposed to an ornament.
And for the psychic bit, my kitchen tongs had just failed. I was literally going to run out to grab a new set when these arrived and we're promptly put to use.
When I opened the package, I didn't know who it was addressed to. My wife just got home and I asked her how she knew I needed new ones. Her response of "Huh?" prompted me to check out who it was from. Huge thanks to @Highlander for knowing me better than my wife does!

Let the chips fall - fail update
Didn't get the house, our bid was good but the other party waived inspection. I'm not comfortable with that, so I feel good about not getting the house. We placed our bid and we're comfortable with it. The house is nice, but has many things that truly need to be fixed. The appliances weren't high end enough for a seven figure price tag. If people beat us out, they're paying that much and they'll have a nice house that'll still need work. We should know in a day or so if we got the house. If not, we know the area we really like.
That aside, my God I love Portland. My family spent over an hour in Powell books today and it was awesome. All of my kids read now, even if my daughter is limited on proficiency. But, they all found several books to read tonight and we all had a good time back in there hotel room reading.

RE: I received a parking citation, and it's stupid
@kitt222 Time to do some trolling.

Secret Senna received
Awesome gifts. Seriously, the bbq branding iron will be awesome for cheeses and meats that I do. And the coffee mug perfectly describes my morning.
Thanks @Taylor-Martin

RE: OPPO critique and guide my design
@TheBarber Haha, thanks! Yeah, I had to accept my limitations and find help. Ergo OPPO's @phenotyp . I'm confident we can come up with a robust enough mounting solution for numbers two and three.
Regardless, I think we're going to print up all three. If you're down here after that happens, want to take a look at them and provide feedback?

RE: OPPO critique and guide my design
@zipfuel for when you get back. #2 and #3 would most likely have a push to release cap that isn't shown in the renderings with an easily refilled top.

RE: OPPO critique and guide my design
@LooseonExit totally agree with that sentiment. Bucking the norm isn't always the best case. I hope that so many people have used quick disconnect fittings (jiffy-tite, etc.) that it's not taboo.

RE: OPPO critique and guide my design
@Vondon302 this is quite the trend. I've only had one person select number two. Thanks!
