DITPL: Torchbait in an unusually good color combination

I stepped out of the office for a cup of coffee and pastry a few minutes ago and encountered this strikingly good looking VW. Old VWs don't usually rustle my jimmies much, but this one caught my eye.

I like type ones, but I can't really jive with the cabriolets. If I was going to get a convertible aircooled, it would have to be a Karmann Ghia. Something about the drop top bugs doesn't look right. In general, I've come to the conclusion that I don't much care for convertibles. I think I'm going to give my Cabriolet the things it needs to be better drivable (and less leaky, both in the engine compartment and in the cabin) and either sell it or gift it to my girlfriend, since she likes it a bunch.

OK, that is a very pretty color combo....personally, I think it would look even better if the roof was a shade of tan rather than white, but that's because I am not a fan of white convertible tops!
