It was pouring rain today,, we did what we were supposed to do and they let us go early. Nothing like cutting and putting connectors on fiber optic lines in the rain, its like human hair. Anyway here are some randoms. I found one Korean War M37 picture, it's getting really hard to find new ones.

@415s30 Great shots. I wonder how many horrible injuries or deaths occurred before the Americans figured out that wire cutter on the front of the jeep. As I type this, I wonder, "Did we do the same thing to the Germans?"

Always fun to watch the ROV guys do that when they re-term umbilicals. Takes a lot of patience.

@ttyymmnn Pretty nasty lessons, I bet they learned pretty quickly but it was probably very bad at the start.

@ttyymmnn my grandfather was an officer under Patton in WWII. While he thought very highly of Patton, he gave the most credit for winning the war to, "The farm-boy mechanics who could build or fix anything from nothing."

@shop-teacher I believe him. Another great homemade solution was the hedgerow cutters they jury rigged on the Shermans in Normandy. Without these, we'd probably still be stuck in St. Lo.
