I may be misremembering... Pre-Hyphen Edition

As the title states, I can't recall if this is a detail I'm misremembering, or if it was from a different online community... but wasn't there an Oppo who used to make custom leather car seat covers? I recall the phrase "the wrinkles will eventually fall out" being used by them after sharing pics of their work. Anyone know who I'm thinking of? Are they a member here?
Not for any reason, just a random memory. Not the first one I've had this week, either. Some deep part of my brain is getting activated by something...
Pic for attention, not my car:

@nth256 this is ringing a bell. I think he worked for a re-upholstery outfit.
-
@nth256 I don’t recall that. But that is the mantra of Katzin installers, and they offer the covers for many cars.
I might get covers and heated seats for the Tundra. Wifey likes them and they weren’t offered in the packaged we got.

There was someone who used to go custom upholstery installation back on kinjoppo, he left that industry a little while before kinjoppo got nuked. Not sure if he made it over here or not, the name Steve rings a bell but that might just be my brain linking completely unrelated things.

Exactly my problem, lol!

@nth256
Not ringing a bell for me -
@MUSASHI66 I think he was related to Katzkin, I seem to remember him trying to point me in the direction of a local installer for them once
-
@nth256 His name was Steve, and he was from North Carolina. He would do installs for Classic Soft Trim. He became a teacher.
-
@Cars Awesome! Good for him, I hope he's doing well!
And more personally, I'm glad I didn't just make up a whole-ass human.
-
@nth256 I remember! I always wanted to have his installs done on our cars, his work was top-notch and he took a lot of pride in his craft. He was basically the Svend of upholstering.
-
@amoore100 Right! I recall him being very happy when the client requested covers that weren't just black or gray.

My dad has done that for his last few trucks. He likes heated leather seats, but doesn't like paying for all the other crap you have to get to get those from the factory. They've all looked pretty nice. He doesn't keep his vehicles long enough to give you a long term durability report though.
-
@Shop-Teacher Apparently, they fit well and don’t even cost too much, and they offer quite a few designs and color options.
-
@MUSASHI66 I can confirm they fit well.
-
I vaguely recall @Highlander maybe getting some fit yourself covers made for his Datsun but iirc those might have been made offshore.
Weirdly was just mentioning this to a friend in regards to a listing for an interiorless Bricklin -
