my brother-in-law needed a new bearing on his 2014 corolla. instead of having to press the baring he just ordered a whole new assembly. we were having a hard time getting the cotter pin out of the tie rod and I ended up over extending the tip and busting the grease all over the place. My brother in law took my car to get a new tie rod end when I was nutting the bolts and saw we had a bit of a problem. -
@OPPOsaurus-WRX Just flip it over!
-
@OPPOsaurus-WRX Should have just bought the bearing...
-
@OPPOsaurus-WRX Well at least the bearing itself is the right part! (some disassembly required)
-
@ibRAD thats the plan... to the other side. once we get the problematic side worked out we thought the other side cant be far behind and since we alreay have the party we might as well do that side too.

@OPPOsaurus-WRX Makes sense. I always do wheel bearings in pairs as well. Like you said it won't be far behind.

@OPPOsaurus-WRX D'oh!
