Not quite as nice as @Just-Jeepin 's road-into-the-distance photos, but working with what I have.
This is one of the many roads around the family cabin that the county "grooms" but does not plow. They also sand the intersections... somewhat regularly. Plan your approach to the stop signs accordingly!

Nice! If I get the WJ into good condition with better tires (and a driveshaft that works) I might finally take a snow tourism trip to the U.P. this winter.
Although given the pandemic, I really should wait another year, sigh.

This was taken ~10 miles from the U.P. Close enough to still get lake-effect snow from Superior. Far enough to often be colder than towns closer to the lake, at least until / if the lake freezes.
Other than RVs on US 2, the U.P. can be desolate in the summer. In the winter, it's Hoth-like.
