This is a Porsche Carrera S.

It has now again become available attached to one of these:

There's a catch of course. Just the Carrera S is thus available and despite the fact that my local Ford dealer will charge me about €2,000 extra to have two pedals on a Focus Porsche look for exactly the same as they do for the PDK variant.
Interestingly the box is by ZF and shares many parts with the 7 speed DCT that appeared on the previous 911. What if anything it shares with the latest eight speeder is unknown.

        Thank goodness.

Also, the SportDesign front clip is good.

I'm gonna guess with 443 "claimed" HP that's surely enough to be happy with in Carrera S form. There may be some guys that go for the GTS or Turbo variants that want manual but surely not more than the most popular form. And.... there's still the GT3 coming!!!

@cé-hé-sin I'd still buy the pdk. When you get to that level of performance, a double clutch makes more sense.

I'd get the manual, not just because I personally just enjoy the engagement more, but also because the performance doesn't matter unless you are tracking the car because there is no use case in the 'real world' where you can use the full on performance of a PDK and that drivetrain.
