Down at the inspection station (pics)
Pick one to DD, one to drag, and burn the rest.
Could this be the last Fiat 128 left in North America?
I choose the Electra wagon as DD but that Town Car is a close second. Or maybe the Allante?
I'd drag the old caddy in a heartbeat but that Cuda is too sweet to burn.

@essextee The '57(?) Ferd. Nice old wagon and a 57 Fairlane is the first car I have any memories of.

DD the Allante, Drag the 'Cuda

@essextee I don't like any of these cars as a daily driver. Looking into the background a little there are plenty of boring SUVs that would be fine to daily, but boring and not in keeping with the spirt of the exercise. With that in mind give me:
Daily: Red Cadillac Allante (I suspect it will need a new top for daily use, but hopefully you can still get those)
Drag: This Cadillac (it looks mean!)
I'm not a Caddy fan, but that's what I've got from the choices.

@essextee That Electra looks like it could be the same colour as mine (before the paint faded on mine), same hubcaps too but it's slightly newer than mine since it has those cornering lights.
Daily: Town Car
DD the 2CV, drag the 128. Burn the rest, mainly because I haven't a clue what any of them are.

@essextee What exactly is this place that so many rare classics are just sitting around rotting?
Obviously I'm going to daily the 2CV and drag the 128 but I can't bring myself to burn the rest.
A USDM 2CV? Now that's a rare one. Where is this exactly? This needs to be saved!
This 128 is also a seriously uncommon car. Were there any other derelict imports around?

@essextee ugh if that caddy was a convertible... Somebody needs to rescue that.
@whoistheleader There's at least half a dozen driveable 2CVs here.

@essextee One year when we were visiting the cape my family visited a used car dealer who specialized in them, and apparently had sent plenty to the islands. They ultimately decided not to buy one though.
@facw Lots of obscure imports here. There's a few diesel Peugeots, 2CVs, a smattering of Morgans, a Mini Moke or two, and you can't go anywhere in the summer without tripping over an MG or classic Land Rover.

@ EssExTee Where is "Here?"

@essextee I am unbelievably jealous. Pictures please! You also said some Peugeot diesels. I'd love to see some of those!

@essextee DD the 57 Ford Wagon
Drag the 2CV I’m thinking a gasser style build with a Yamaha 1700cc V4 from a V Max. Maybe with some spray. A good 250hp should be plenty.

@essextee Oh my god, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the Caddy. The 2CV was awesome, burn the Dodgey jeep.

@essextee I have to just take the smallest, but the heart wants the villain from Finding Nemo.

@essextee damn, you must be one of the elite if you live there! Why you slummin' it with us!?

GAAAAAHHH I want them all! But if I can only save two, I'll have to go with the '64 Impala as it looks like it might be an SS (or at least an easy conversion), and I've always wanted one since my grandma used to have one. The one I'd drag is that sweet Kaiser sedan behind the wagon in the last photo. There aren't many of those left. It'd make an epic gasser.

@essextee Daily that big black Caddy, and drag the Impala.
