Did a light svend yesterday on the squarebody. This is about as good as she gets.

Then there is this, one the driver's door. Lacrosse ball damage.

That will be annoying to fix.

Finally, got the replacement glass for the vent window that I broke "installed". I could not get it in with the rubber seal that is intended, it was just too thick. So I did the right thing the wrong way and used three layers of electrical tape. I'm shopping for some 1/32 tape instead of the 1/16.

When we were kids, my brother put a golf ball through the taillight of our neighbor's Passat wagon. My parents paid for it, and then the neighbor arranged for my brother to take lessons at his country club. And then he bought an XJS12 convertible because his wife wasn't comfortable with the safety of him driving a kid to the golf course in his E-Type convertible (they were good car people, in addition to the Jags and the wagon, they also had a Taurus SHO)

Nicely done on both the cleaning per se and not driving yourself mad by pushing too far toward the intersection of Pareto's Law and Zeno's Paradox on the appearance of an older car that does practical things in the real world.
