I had to look this one up, because I know very little about them. And apparently neither does the seller; it's not a FWD 3 cylinder, it has an air-cooled V4 mounted in the rear. I never thought I'd use words like "adorable" and "charming" to describe anything Soviet-made, but I've kinda got a little crush on this thing...

A Zapo! Let me at it! Let me at it! I love Zaporozhets! Otherwise known as the ZAZ 966/968. It's an adorable looking Soviet people's car with a gloriously weird drivetrain.

And that one appears to be in crazy good condition.

@whoistheleader Huh... I bet this is the guy I see driving around the red and tan Ladas all the time (and occasionally a gigantic KAMAZ 6x6 truck).

As I've said before, Portland is a more interesting car town than you'd guess...

And this guy just casually drives around a 6x6 KAMAZ? Must be quite a character, one I'd love to meet. Try to get a picture if you can. I'd love to see what that looks like driving on a regular US road.

I've only seen the KAMAZ a couple of times, parked. He owns a used tire shop, kind of a sketchy place by most accounts, but maybe it's just kinda "Russian." But his daily drivers are Lada sedans, a red 2107 and a tan 2101.

I don't think it's the same guy who's selling the ZAZ and the others, but I'm sure they're connected somehow. Or at least know each other.

Wow, he's got a Volga M21 Universal, too. Amazing inventory, and the prices don't seem that crazy, really, considering he's already taken the trouble to ship them, go through customs, and get them titled.
