Im really happy that this community was saved, I never posted much but was more of a lurker reading OPPO every day but that will probably change with the new platform. I hope to connect more with the other oppos in the Denver area once Covid dies down hopefully in the coming year. In the meantime Denver area oppos can keep an eye out for my shitbox fleet in the northern part of Denver.

One of the positives of the Kinja shutdown is it seems to have driven some lurkers out of the woodwork.

@dipodomysdeserti that seems to be the case with a lot of camping/hiking/offroad spots in the foothills this year. RMNP got hit pretty hard and im afraid to see how bad the damage is when I go visit next spring.

@2-jeeps-and-a-mustang-wants-a-fiata Yeah. I talked with a lady who had a house near where I camped. She couldn't get fire insurance on account of the FS letting a controlled burn get out of hand a few years ago. Sad stuff.
