Ranger Raptor build and price just went live

@blacktruck18 oh...I didn't hear about the one per dealer thing. Dang...
Same boat on the black wheels. I like the contrast of the silver beadlock. For $1200, I think it's a decent deal on wheels.
@MUSASHI66 I do like the Cactus grey. I follow Mike Levine on IG and his Ranger Tremor w/o side steps looks pretty good.
Yeah, for some reason, color has to go with the size of the vehicle for me.
-
@blacktruck18 Hot Pepper Red. I really like that color. I'd go VB next, then Azure. Eruption Green was decent enough in pictures, I'd have to see the Shelter in person first.
-
@KngT
The Metallic Sedona Orange is nice for a regular car,
But I like Metallic Code Orange for something like this.
-
@Svend the MCO is good. Similar to the Fiesta ST orangewhateveritscalled alas Ford NA doesn't think we need bright colo(u)rs for this vehicle.
-
@mhr555
That'll be the Molten Orange Tricoat Metallic.
Different light makes it look different.
-
@Svend that's the name.
My ex-wife has a Fiesta ST in that colo(u)r and it's way more red than those pics. Fantastic colo(u)r though.
-
@mhr555
Ye', I remember the colo(u)r being more red, it's not my favo(u)rite colo(u)r, but it adds a certain flavo(u)r to the car.
You've got to find some humo(u)r in someone's behavio(u)r to endeavo(u)r to paint their vehicle in such splendo(u)r of such a vibrant colo(u)r.
I'm sorry. I couldn't help it. I'm a child, a bored child.
.
Also, thank you for doing the '(u)'. It is appreciated and made me smiled happy. -
I'd have to go Hot Pepper Red with the beadlocks and the ridiculous graphics. That's about as close to the look of the OG F-150 Raptor (which is still my favorite) as you can get.
-
I like “boring” colors for brash vehicles. IMO, it’s more understated.
If white, I’m certainly getting this helmet and doing my UN theme to mess with crazies out there.
-
@beefchips But, it's a subscription. If you don't pay someone let's the air out of your tires.
-
@Huzer I saw pics online of an Eruption Green prototype, super disappointing that it's not an available color. It was going to be my backup if they didn't offer Sedona Orange.
-
@blacktruck18 actual colour almost always. Green all the way.

@mhr555 said in Ranger Raptor build and price just went live:
Anyone want a Focus RS? sooner than later? Special Oppo pricing.
What’s an RS go for these days? I assume it’s a manual?

Depends on mileage and year. Most good ones (like mine) can go from $34-36k. Mine is a 2017 RS2 sans moonroof with 40,300 miles. 19" forged wheels and it'll come with a set of TSW's with snows.
All RS's were manuals.
As for colo(u)rs, saw an Azure grey F150 on the road in sunny conditions. #notbadobama Might need to get the stripe option though.

@mhr555 I just got an email from my sales guy at the dealership I have been talking to. They were told the order banks are opening today, they weren't actually open though as of 30 or so minutes ago .
-
@blacktruck18 I heard 26th as well as 29th.
My buddy on Bronco/Ranger is OOO today so I can't ask him.
-
@mhr555 If I hear from my salesman I'll let you know, if you want to try to get the order in today.
-
@blacktruck18 sweet! good luck.
I can't place mine until there's an allocation.

@mhr555 could always just keep it as a fun zip around car. I doubt the truck is going to be gentle on gas.

Th RS isn't great on fuel especially in the city but it is a fun car to throw around on an autocross course.
There are a few other vehicles in the stable to take it's place. I've got the EVO IV for the fun car. I can use the Vespa or Lambretta to cruise around or the GS Adventure to zip to Starbucks for my ADV needs.
The truck would be able to haul the scooters to wherever is not local, comfortably transport the aging parents to/from their doctor's appointment or errands (you should see my Dad struggle to get out of the Recaros).

@mhr555 technically my Husky isn’t that great on gas. But it’s usually about $10CAD to fill it with premium and gets me 2 weeks of commuting. So I don’t complain about it. My Eagle has an 80L tank and doesn’t do so great in the city with its 3-speed auto and my heavy foot. It also gets me about 2 weeks of back-and-forth… not for $10 though.
