Is there any off-road portion of this? Are there opportunities for there to be?

I'm trying to throw a plan together with @Shop-Teacher and debating which vehicle to take. Also trying to decide if I can afford it after going to Gridlife Midwest Festival next weekend.

Last year I averaged 14 MPG on the day of the rally and 16 MPG for the entire weekend (including the round trip). It’s entirely possible I won’t have the worst MPG of the adventure.

@Shoop I'm so booked up that I'm lucky I have a day free to do the rally. Every weekend is filled with booking stuff for my wedding, going to someone elses wedding or a house search.
