Poll May Switch Choices
Welcome to This or That; Where I choose 2 vehicles (but probably can't afford) and you choose which one you'd rather have with the poll.
You can explain your choice below, or not.
Today, a battle of the classics for $70k.

Hey, thanks for voting. I hope you enjoyed today’s poll.
Have some vehicles you’d like to see in the poll? Send me a message! -
@Exage03040 I want to do burn outs. Put line locks on the dodge and go roast some tires.

I thought this would be easy: Porsche is my third-favorite car company (after Jeep, natch, and Honda), not that I've ever owned one, and of course it's a convertible.
But that Dodge is gorgeous, and something about the 911's color doesn't do it for me. So, Dodge it is.
-
@Exage03040 I love Porsches, but that generation Targa (and the fact that the Super Bee is GORGEOUS) made this one easy for me.
-
@Exage03040 I really dislike the Targa design. However, I'd prefer to be drive the Porsche. Targa for me.
-
I picked the 911 even though that is an insane price for that
-
needs to be something really special for me to pick something other than the Porsche and the dodge just isn't special enough to me
-
@Exage03040 I'd take the Dodge, and give it to my Dad.
-
@Exage03040 if I was somewhere else in the world, I'd probably pick the Porsche.
That said, I'm in middle America. The Dodge has more power, V8 sound track, is a better color and just looks the business. In the Porsche people will just assume I'm yet another somewhat rich guy showing off (ordinary people won't be able to tell that it's an 80s vs any other decade 911), where as in the Dodge they'll assume I love old cars/am a gearhead.Dodge was an easy choice.
-
@Exage03040 I can't turn down an old muscle car
-
@Exage03040 Sure the 911 may handle better stock, but there's plenty of aftermarket to make the Superbee a weapon all around if I actually want to track it.
Besides, 383/4-speed with Posi.

@Exage03040
They really went out on a limb when they redesigned the Super Bee in 1970. I love the 68-69 B-bodies and would love to own one again, but the 70-71 have such a presence. -
@CoolMinivan-Nobody @Exage03040 I should probably do a found on montana craigslist on this one. I really don't like the body style but I appreciate the 383 and ability of this car to still be driving after 50 years.
