It’s interesting how having the default sort order being by last activity changes your perception of how active the place is - there’s been a good couple of dozen comments in the last hour.

You can change that to a more Kinja-style strictly-chronological setup if you'd prefer, btw! Check out the User Guide for details!

was that the reason for the hour rule happening? to show that the place was actually active so it wasn't shut down?

@samv8 I believe so. It was to help boost our engagement or something.

@rallydarkstrike yup. It’s nice to have both choices though - the new one makes it a lot easier to interact with the comments in real-time. And as I said, it gives a much better picture of how active the site really is. I’m finding I tend to use post order to check out what’s happened while I’m gone, then flip to activity order if I’m hanging around.
