It is amazing that these cars don't rattle themselves to death after 1 hr. I know Sebring is rough but you always forget while watching other series where the tracks are so smooth. My back hurts after 5 minutes of watching the race.

The Acuras are fast and the Wayne Taylor Racing team are running like a well oiled machine.

BMW seems to be doing better than the Porsches which is surprising. Usually when you have a Penske Porsche, they dominate. I think they need to repaint them yellow to get some luck and speed.

These pit camera operators are brave. Standing in the pit while a car comes flying in for a stop and the car stops inches from your camera. They also seem annoying since they seem to be in the business of the pit crew.

The GTD Ferrari looks amazing. The Corvette race car looks so much better than the road car. The AMG GT looks so awkward compared to the other cars. Reminds me of the Panoz GTR.

@Krusty-Walnut That Ferrari is intimidating to see in person. Definitely one of the best looking cars in all of racing. The Mercedes is just huge, a lot like the M8 was back in the GTLM days.

I really hope Porsche can figure something out between both their GT programs and GTP. In prototype, the Porsche's have appeared to be slow in both yesterday's and todays race. The 911 was OK yesterday, but that was a different car than what they're racing today, which is also a bit slow.

Much like Daytona, it's Acura v. Cadillac and Aston v. Mercedes + Corvette.

The road less travelled is that way for a reason.

@hayzer911 The 296 is the first modern Ferrari I would buy. It looks modern and classic at the same time.

24 BMW does what BMWs do best, breakdown. Too bad, they seem to have found speed this race.

@Krusty-Walnut It's got the look of a 250 LM from the back.

BMW ended up having a good say after all. If the Wayne Taylor Acura didn't decide to go bowling towards the end of the race, their day would have likely been considered another failure.

Part of the job of racing is tolerating the media. No media = no sponsors, no sponsors = no money, no money = no racing

@atfsgeoff To be fair, the mechanics can only occupy a small area around the car in the first place. So even when it looks like they're close, they're never getting tripped over or actually being pushed out of the way. But I can imagine that the mechanics over the wall have grown accustomed to the idea that there's a camera worth thousands of dollars right behind them and a person to hold it.
