When ADM is higher than MSRP
-
So there's a dude selling this 2022 911 GT3 w/1100 mi on FB for $250k. (Retail is $177k) I pinged him about the markup, and he said there's no allocation for two years. He then said the ADM on a GT3 RS is 250k if you can find one. Retail on that car starts at $238k.Holy ratballs. Who's paying 250k over sticker for anything? Yikes.

@Turbineguy-Nom-de-Zoom For some real money may as well be Monoply money. Just numbers on paper.
-
@Turbineguy-Nom-de-Zoom He has a nice garage. I'm guessing the person who pays that ADM is also the person who hires a King Air to move their wine collection.

call the feds, this guy has some cocaine on him

@Turbineguy-Nom-de-Zoom I wanted to like 1/2 of my garage with interlocking floor tiles but they run $3-$4/SF, and I would need about $1,000 worth of tiles. Oh well.

LOL. You remember that story, huh? Yeah, could be the same dude I 'spose.

@Turbineguy-Nom-de-Zoom That was legendary. We need more stories like that! Plus, King Air is a dream plane for my family. My father has his light sports license and my daughter is a student pilot and hopefully will get her private license this year. My dad is now looking to get a Cirrus SR22 to replace his light sports.

I think it is true that there are no GT allocations though - I mean even ordinary Boxsters and 911s had a 1 year + waiting list recently.

@Esotericars I suppose that's the case, but a 250k markup for a 238k car???
