              @Just-Jeepin Most GM sedans of that era came with poverty spec v-6 engines. The styling is unfortunate, at theis time I think they already had the monty carlo shape sorted, much better look that this slant back.

              And you may ask yourself, "Where does that highway go to?"

                @Just-Jeepin I'd take this over a GN.

                  @KAC That's quite the hot take, although the GN has never appealed to me visually.

                    @Just-Jeepin A stock GN is slow by modern standards so I don't really care If it's faster than this and I find these visually more interesting. Plus brown on brown.

                      @Highlander -- The market agreed. This car avoided pushing any of the buttons on the Buick Market Radio (KDGR, somewhere over 65 on your AM dial). Curbside Classic interspersed a retrospective with Car & Driver's contemporary review and explains why it is such a rarity.

                      The styling sort of bridges some of the things they had been doing with compacts and midsizes and the soon-to-be-introduced X-car, and does have a few enthusiasts.

                      The love would have to run deep to shell out six grand for it at this point in history, though if you want one, this might be the one you want.

                        @Just-Jeepin Reserve not met at $8,500. Good grief, how high was the reserve?

                        "The previous owner did that; it's been like that since I bought it."

                          @Just-Jeepin If it be anymore brown it would be a turd 😛

                          I do like the turbo gauge
