VanCity Meet Up Monday, April 3rd?

B.C. Oppos, Mrs. ME and I will be in Vancouver to catch a hockey game April 4th => Canucks vs. Kraken as a precursor to my birthday. We'll be heading up on Monday the 3rd and have nothing planned for the evening. Wanna get together for beers and/or dinner? We're staying a block from the arena.

Kinda lost track of who lives in the area, I know @CarsOfFortLangley is nearby

Be nice to get the headcount and get a reservation like CoFL did last time, no matter where we go.

Looking at my schedule: I should be on days off so I have significant flexibility.

Up to you, but looks like Granville Island around 7pm April 3 is our tentative meet up for that evening. Usually we all park and meetup in this parkade at the bottom level.

Looks like Spasoje and I are pretty well confirmed.

gmctavish and Zenith2455 are a possibility but not confirmed yet.

CoFL is an unlikely but maybe.

The rest are looking unlikely to make it, but this is normal hustle for Vancouver meets with our families, gigs and work/business.

Maybe another thread at the bottom of the month here, we'll grab a final head tally, and reserve somewhere.

There has been a shift since the WFH due to 'rona. Traffic always is terrible starting around that time regardless of day.

It's usually slightly less volume than a weekday but a lot more people that do WFH and don't drive often are on the road during weekends now, and they slow everyone down.

It's par for the course. Weekends are Pastor Maldonado vs. Ayrton Senna on a massive scale.
Best to drive between 10:00-14:00 or when the sun isn't up.
