My Plan Is Working Perfectly

January and February are usually the harshest months in southeastern Pennsylvania. My oldest Bimmer lives in a car tent and while it gets driven often, it deserves better sleeping quarters which I am working on.
I dropped it off at a new to me, inde shop two weeks ago...Since it has been there I've been back and forth with the owner, choosing new parts for the ones that don't fit, adding things on etc...
Welp we just got a bunch of snow, might get some more...
We chatted via email briefly yesterday and he said something to the effect of "nothing really to report, obviously the car stays in the shop when the weather is like this."
Me internally: "hehheh...I KNOW...You're welcome car"
I'm excited to get it back but can wait until the snow is gone.
Meanwhile @ the inde shop:

@tripper I'm working with a vendor on setting up a new dicing saw and they're in Horsham, PA. Was supposed to come down this week, but he said he got 35" of snow.

@tripper so uum where is this inde shop located exactly? I will help with the winter "testing"

@e90m3 Haha yup PA is wild like that. Horsham is only 45 minutes from me, we got a little less than a foot of accumulation

When I got the fiata front end wrapped in Xpel it snowed for the first time of the season that night, in the morning the shop called to offer to let it stay there until the next day which was a nice gesture (I drive it in the winter but he didn't know that and it was still on summer tires so I took him up on the offer).
