Cars and Rain (C&C Southlake)
Rain usually means no one shows up. I guess not for Cars and Coffee Southlake. I am sure we were missing some fair weather cars, but I know there were some cars there that would be considered fair weather cars by just about anyone, and they STILL showed.
Shooting in the rain is not my favorite thing to do. My aging a6000 is not weatherproofed at all which pretty much means that if water gets on the camera it has an easy path inside. But armed with the fact shooting in these conditions hasn't broken it yet (total of 4-5 times now I believe) and the camera is vintage 2014 it has served me well. If it breaks... It breaks... Time to join the 4K crowd. The only reason why this hasn't happened yet is Sony just doesn't give us a a6xxx or a7000 camera with 4K60 support, but I digress.
People definitely still got on it. And some got a wee bit loose. No crazy stuff though, just a little fish tailing on wet pavement. All and all I was impressed with the show. First one of 2021. The year everything is supposed to get... better? If this show was any indication I think we'll be fine!

If I had a big powerful RWD V12 Aston such as this, I don't think here and now would be the place I'd attempt an overtake.

@thedutchtexan red AE86 @2:05 plz.
@nauraushaun it happens in just about every video I take on that onramp. When it was just myself it didn't happen too much, but since then everyone is at that exit. I feel that there is a nasty wreck in our future sadly.
@pip-bip same same! Was my favorite car of show actually. Loved them since I learned about them (Initial D, and then finding out they are cool as hell!)
