Search Lights for me TRX4 Blazer Park Ranger
-
Not much of a search and
arrestrescue truck if theres no search lights. Injora RC parts finally made some 1" round lights that have brackets.darn things are bright! Also have driving lights but its off. The police lights run on a 9v battery and MytrickRC light controller. Hated the idea of having to drill holes though.

I had a spare red and blue LED so I put some rear lights too.

@Brickman Solid work!
And the bullbar light colours supposed to be reversed?
-
@CB Looks better IMO. Too much red on one side
-
@Brickman Thats excellent! Really digging that build.

@CB I've wired up our work trucks that way, going for an alternating effect... These are also controlled via a toggle switch, and rely on the various pre-programed patterns internal to each light head. If we were actual emergency vehicles, I'd have done it up proper with the full controllers like you're used to. In our case, the flashing lights are there really only for the "stay away/please don't hit me/move the fuck over as you pass" on the side of the road function, so I opted for a simpler (cheaper) way to go about it.

Oh I like. It would be fun to build a mini Trailmater with a working boom. He has lights too. After living in Japan I know you can get all kinds of mini things like fire extinguishers.

@Demon-Xanth Damn you all tempting me to do these things! I have to finish a real truck, I can't be buying this stuff!

@Brickman That's freaking fantastic!
