Apologies, poll switched around the choices.
Welcome to This or That; Where I choose 2 vehicles (but probably can't afford) and you choose which one you'd rather have with the poll.
You can explain your choice below, or not.
I’m continuing with a Germans but I’ve upped the price. With great cost comes great responsibility? Anyways.
First up with have a designo Graphite Grey MAGNO 2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S 4Matic+. It has the following packages: AMG Night Package, Black 21” AMG twin 7 spoke wheels, Premium Rear Seating Package, Intelligent Driving Package, Comfort Package, DINAMICA headliner, Intelligent Driver Package, AMG Performance seating.
While thunder follows lightning… Not here.

It’s equipped with both the Premium Package and Performance Package. This includes Sport Chrono, PDCC Sport, Porsche InnoDrive, Rear Axel Steering, Panoramic Roof, Surround View Cameras. @exage03040 Hmm, tough choice. The twin-turbocharged one, or the turbo-less "Turbo"

@exage03040 I like the AMG GT but in coupe form rather than the sedan.
I really love the Taycan so I'm all for that one.

@exage03040 Both are seriously too expensive, but the merc is a very expensive E class. Taycan for me.

@exage03040 Zero chance of picking an electric car over a gas car for me, and I really don’t like the Taycan at all, so my choice is easy.

I’ve been in traffic behind an identical 63s and I still remember that sound....going AMG on this one.

Taycan, for the simple reason that I cannot stand the Merc grill, but I couldn't stand walking out to that every day.

@st80mnd sounds us a factor as well. AMGs have that on lock

Taycan without hesitation. I despise current Mercs. They are gaudy and obnoxious. And while I'm sure that AMG engine is fantastic, I can't get past the rest of the car.
Meanwhile, I have driven a Taycan and it's like driving a spaceship. I adore them and absolutely want to own one some day.

The AMG GT 63 S 4-door is spectacular, but outclassed slightly by the M8 Gran Coupe Competition. The Taycan, however? Nothing I've ever driven has driven like that. Taycan all the way.

I'll take the Taycan!

@exage03040 while I think the Mercedes is a much nicer looking car, and has killer specs I’d go with the Taycan. Why not have what many argue is the nicest electric car out there right now vs a dreamy amount of power mated to an automatic transmission. And fwippy paddles and sticks don’t count, so to hell with that crap. If I can’t row my own, I might as well make the switch to a zappity powered car that also has no gear selection.

The Taycan is the correct choice...
