The Cortina was sold in the USA. When I was in HS, I would walk past one parked in someone's driveway not far from school. I never once saw it leave. Probably wasn't running.

Interestingly, two of those look just like ours while the white one has been Americanised with extra lights and what look like Escort Mk1 indicators under the bumper.
I saw the remains of a Mk2 when I was in California years ago.
