@mazda616 How time flies. I remember Golden Girls, and I also remember reading something along the lines of Jennifer Aniston is currently the same age as Rue McClanahan when she started on Golden Girls. Imagine the Friends cast in a reboot of Golden Girls. Ha!

I always assumed it belonged to Rose.

@mazda616 I kind of want to photoshop Bea Arthur next to an X-34 landspeeder to make a dark horse "Golden Girl with car" that should have been but wasn't.

Of course, I'm sure by the time the Holiday Special was filmed the exterior Mos Eisley sets were long abandoned or dismantled, but I'm pretty sure that the night manager of the cantina would have had a sensible transportation choice like that.

@onlytwowheels I had no idea Betty White was a brunette. I first saw her on the Mary Tyler Moore show (not even re-runs) and her hair was already white then.

@fintail The Calais is never specified to be owned by one of the four girls, but I do know what cars they drive. Blanche drives a Buick-something, because Dorothy mentions in a season five episode that “Blanche drives a Buick.”

Dorothy drives a Pontiac Bonneville. Sophia steals it in season seven and says “Your Bonneville shakes when you go over 65.” And, lastly, Rose mentions in season five that she “is the battered consumer” because she “drives a Gremlin, for God’s sake.”
