It's this Lib wagon

If 90s styling was a bit drab, the later 90s was more about friendlier, snazzier designs. That with the wagon body and a good size sun roof, god it works on me.
Caught myself staring at it like I'd never seen a Lib before. -
@nauraushaun Needs a turbo hood scoop though.
-
@nauraushaun so clean.
-
@nauraushaun In what city is that picture taken?

Mel-bun

@nauraushaun a sunroof in this country is like wandering around in the daylight without a hat... basically a stupid idea. If want to embrace the sun...go topless. Otherwise, you are just another museum exhibit.
-
@silentbutnotreallydeadly Are you the woodworker who posted the picture of the Thicknesser awhile back?

Yes. No. Maybe. I have a thicknesser and I work with wood but I don't think I've ever burdened Oppo with this life failing...I do however have an Italian ride-on mower...

@nauraushaun Very clean! It’s getting harder and harder to find clean 2nd or 3rd gen Legacy/Liberty around here.
The 2nd gen is still my favorite from a styling perspective. I wouldn’t turn down a 3rd gen though.
-
I love all generations of Legacy/Liberty wagons.
I owned two 4th Gen LegacyGT wagons, but still plan to import a RHD turbo 2nd/3rd generation one from Japan someday.
-
@cb Did someone say turbo hoodscoop? Sneaky, but here it is! Weird how much I miss this car for how blah I was about it when I had it.

Respectfully disagree. A wagon cannot go topless, and if I had to have a wagon I'd most certainly have the sunroof.
Assuming it's got a shade. I don't have a death wish -
@boxer_4 Love that yellow for being deligthfully uncool.
-
@nauraushaun Cashmere Yellow - definitely and odd and interesting color.
Also available on the GC WRX STI.
We got Cashmere Yellow (called Blaze Yellow) very briefly in the US on a run of 2002 GD WRXs. Somewhere around 450 were sold. 2002 was the first year of the GD for the US.
-
@boxer_4 So off-beat and atypical compared to the standard WR Rally Blue.
Reminds me of the soft pearl yellow they did on the Mitsu Ralliart Colt. There was a red that was the right color, setting off all the black trim nicely. But the yellow is so weird for a macho sort of fast hatch, gotta love it.
Not sure if you have any of these in the states. It's a 1.5L turbo so it's super peaky, all the boost coming at once at 3k RPM or so. Good fun, very keen to spin those front wheels.
-
@nauraushaun I do like pale yellows for some reason. We never got these. We have the Mirage now, which I think is the successor to that generation Colt. No cool performance versions though.
-
@boxer_4 I don't think it is. I think the current Mirage is more in the line of the Lancer based Mirage - absolutely budget. Those Colts were a bit fancier, definitely not bottom feeder stuff.
