Well it's been about a week and the general is doing a little better. We're trying to introduce him to new rooms in the house. The trouble is our house isn't particularly cat friendly being pretty open plan. He's here in the den with me right now. I put this box out for him because he can't find any place to hide in here (intentionally so). He's standing up more, playing a little more, and even coming to us a little bit but still runs and hides to the nearest escape point as soon as he can. He wants out of the bathroom and I can't blame him. We are going to let him roam most of the house starting this weekend...which means a lot of him hiding, but at least I think he's figured out we want him around will be kind to him. That's a start.

@hammerheadfistpunch Well he sure takes good pics. Looks like a Maine coon or partly at least.
I've got a black Maine coon and it's the worst lap cat I've ever had. Will sit next to you but never on you. That being said she's also the only cat I've ever seen that cries to play and she plays good fetch just like a dog.
