Tenet: The Video Game

Has anyone who's seen Tenet also plaid the game Braid? Braid has many time-manipulating mechanics, but one of them is exactly the same as Tenet's "temporal pincer" idea.
Here's an example:
I can highly recommend Braid if you're into that kind of thing. It's a puzzle platformer with a huge emphasis on the puzzle side of things. The story goes along nicely with the game mechanics, too.

@bryan-has-a-neon-with-an-sti I hate that movie so much, I only managed like 20-30 minutes of it. Convoluted mess.
-
@musashi66 Oh good, I'm not the only one. We rented it from redbox and while I was watching it I remember thinking "People really risked covid to go see this?"
-
@musashi66 I didn't hate it, but I was pretty disappointed.

@bryan-has-a-neon-with-an-sti This is the best description for me, from a reviewer
""Tenet" is difficult to understand, but even worse, it inspires little desire to understand it."

I wonder if the pandemic is the reason why the few movies that have actually released have been terrible. At least for both Tenet and Wonder Woman, they were those "big blockbusters" of the year but are universally panned. Have only heard good things about Disney's movie at least but otherwise no good ones thanks to the Rona. I just wonder if its coincidence or a direct causation. Its a shame because I love this direct to consumer movie release process but if the movies are crap then its not exactly worth it.

@wrong-wheel-drive I tried watching WW1984 last night and I gave up 10-16 minutes into it. So damn cheesy and poorly done and shitty CGI. I didn’t like the first WW, I flat out hated the second. DC movies just suck in general.
-
@wrong-wheel-drive I swear, it's a ploy by Hollywood to kill the direct to home distribution we all want!
Soul was fantastic though. It's like an adult Pixar film, which isn't great for merchandising so we won't see any movies like it for another 10 years as Pixar focuses on Toy Story 5 and Monsters Inc 3- The Intern Years.
-
@rctothefuture Can’t blame them for making what sells and makes money, but quality production and good merchandising opportunities shouldn’t be incompatible.
