Wish Me Luck!

Update: I passed!
About to write my Year 3 Final Exam for my Millwright ticket. Not stressed out at all, AT ALL I TELL YOU! I am stressed out. Pretty sure I'll do okay, I've got decent grades this entire year, it's just been REALLY spread out and I'm concerned that even after cramming the last week I'm missing something. But C's get degrees and whatnot. 70% is a pass. And I'll have one re-write if I bomb this thing. At which point I'll be summiting Mount Stress and boarding a helicopter to Panic Peak.
Just waiting a couple of minutes to get my login code. And my 3 hour journey begins.

You got this!!!!!!

@sn4cktimes Good luck! I was a pretty diligent student in college, but I still said (literally, in a quiet whisper) before every big test - "I'd rather be lucky than good!"
-
GOOD LUCK

@trivet When you descend stress mountain, this ride will be waiting in the woods to take you home. The passengers are optional. You're gonna do great.
Or, if the beach is your thing and you like second gens, you have the option of this beautiful yellow coupe.

@sn4cktimes Good luck! Make sure you keep your self calm and clear headed. Use the 4 4 4 technique. Breath in 4 seconds, hold 4 seconds, exhale 4 seconds and most importantly, repeat until you feel the calmness.

@sn4cktimes Good luck - you’ll nail it!

Thanks everyone, I passed. It was a tough but reasonable test. I ripped through it answering everything I KNEW, and then backtracked to the rest. I was fairly confident when I hit that submit button. But there’s always that chance...
-
You did put in a lot of effort and it has paid off. Congrats!
-
What was the most surprising thing you learned in the process?

Was every answer: "Apply heat and whack it with a No-Blow"??

Contrats! The world needs more millwrights.
Specifically I need more millwrights as a lot of the guys we use are closing on retirement age and the prices will go through the roof if nobody replaces them. -
Congratulations!

@sn4cktimes Sweet!

@racinbob I don’t think a singular “thing” surprised me so much as the AMOUNT of things a Millwright is expected to just know and put into practice. I learned a lot of HVAC and cooling stuff and SO much hydraulics that I’ll likely never put into practice.
