@krustywantout the heater in my 99 is literally the best heater in any car I've had.... probably because they didn't cool the engine but that's beside the point

@krustywantout I mean we took the SAAB to look at Christmas lights on one slightly less cold day. And I did once scrape ice from the windshield before lowering the top (manual probably tells you not to do that). Just have to dress for it.

@atfsgeoff I think his point is the radiator/air flow is probably not sufficient to cool the engine and thus really hot coolant for the heater core

@krustywantout I miss driving in the wee hours of the morning with the top down. It would be 45 Fahrenheit outside. I would have the heat cranked up and heated seat in my Miata on. I would also be somewhat bundled up. So invigorating!

equally entertaining is Miatas with the top down in the pouring rain, see it all the time. Wife thinks that's fucking awesome, I disagree.

@bootstrap @Milky 45 is a nice temperature especially on the motorcycle. When I had my M6, it was great cranking up the heat and taking the top down in the spring and fall months. No way I would do that at 26.
