The internet is fine, but there’s something special about a print newspaper and I’ve finally managed to get hold of a paper with one of my articles in (first one I’ve actually had) and it’s a very special one - George’s first pole.

I might put it in a scrapbook (or not, I’ve had enough of scrapbooks since that was my pretty bad business idea) or on a wall somewhere like I’ve seen a few journalists do.

Where do you think it should go?

@Gabriella Frame it!! You only ever get in the papers for the first time once in your life. That way you can bring it around wherever you live or work for inspiration.

@Gabriella -- Your first time breaking into print (at some length and with a byline, at that)? On the wall it goes! In fact, buy a second copy while you still can. Some tips:

@Gabriella Amazing! Definitely frame it and use UV proof glass so it won't fade. Great work!

@Gabriella You should definitely get at least two copies so you can store one somewhere safe for the future and have one to show. Someday that paper might not exist and you'll have an artifact of not just personal history but regional history with your name in it.

@Gabriella It should go in a frame on the wall! That's a great accomplishment! Congratulations!

@WasGTIthenGTOthenNOVAthenGTInowA4 It’s not the first one, it’s just the first one I actually have. There’s been articles in there since February, I’ve just finally got one.

@Ad-absurdum-per-aspera I probably should’ve made it clear that it’s not the first one, just the first I actually have. It’s probably the longest one and is one of the more interesting ones though.
