@Exage03040 and he allegedly tracked it once. Original tires....

I see bought in May '21 and the Supercorsa's went on in June '21... Not seeing the mention of when the track day was.

True or not, I'm just really surprised this bro already has a 996 and decided to track the SPS on nearly 20yo belts. Someone called him brave, but I believe the correct term is moron.

          @Exage03040

I did take this bike out on track once- last year with Ducati Revs at NJMP Thunderbolt.

I saw the comment about 19 year old belts on BaT and misread that as 19 year old tires. Regardless, still pretty nutty.

Already got it! But once it's below about 35° it keeps you alive, not comfortable. Sub 25° is when it really gets rough....

Ohhhhhh...VFR400's, I'm picking up what you're puttin' down @AestheticsInMotion Where are you looking for these 400's? I don't know of a good import site for motorbikes.

I think these thoughts sometimes but I'd need a cage for winter use here in the mitten state.

I have my R1200 GSA that I could ride every day and do I really need my Focus RS as my daily whip? Why not a beater ex-Police Interceptor or a cheap PHEV or EV?

Or going with your N+1 motorbike theory, maybe a Ural sidehack and some good cold weather gear? HAHAHA...

@Mr-Ontop Daily lows need to be at least 38 for me to do early morning rides, and even then I'm watching out in shaded areas.

thanks for the shoutout! they pop up periodically on RSBFS and on iconicmotorbikes.

RVF500s (NC35s) seem more common on iconic than NC30s. Check their instagram, their mechanic steve recently bought one of the RC30 colored NC30s for himself and it looks like he recently picked on up to flip.

If you're serious, they're great to work with and can easily line one up for you with the right condition and price. I hear a lot of their clients will ask them to go through a bike but to limit their work to some specified dollar amount like $2000 and their mechanics will prioritize their work according to your preferences (ilke cosmetics vs maintenance vs performance).

look out for non-oem plastics and bad repaints.

Just getting broken in at 177k miles. Milwaukee Oregon, wherever that is. Small cockpit, warms up quick in the winter, assuming you can get the diesel started okay.

That's soooo tempting. That said, the ZX-4R is getting dangerously close to being a real boy. The design patent was one thing, but submitting paperwork to NHTSA?

@yetanotheruselessburner oh I'm a huge fan of the small ZX's. This new one looks like a blast.

But a VFR400R feels so special. I'm guessing they'll be priced similarly? $7k-ish for a ZX-4r sound about right?

@yetanotheruselessburner I'm guessing around 8K for the full-fat (ABS, TCS, etc.) package. It's still up in the air as Kawi is super-guiet on this bike. I wanna say 75hp+, to match/beat the R7. I think 80hp is the sweet spot. Nice, round number, that.

I had (started because I'm duuuuuuuuuuuuuumb) on a K3 Gixxer 600, and moved to) a EX400 Ninja. I'll be all in if this bike lands at at least 75hp, as it'll be that perfect mid-point. The CBR650R is tempting and the ZX-6R/636 is on borrowed time. . .

A 17K+ redline is far more tempting, especially in a bike I can make scream without eating a tree.
