That's a weird private jet

Must be related to this
-
@EssExTee get the bag Kamala
-
@EssExTee 10/10, would choose over 747/757
-
-
@Ermahgerd apparently they rolled 6 Suburbans + equipment off it
-
@EssExTee Yeah, the (Vice) Presidential motorcade is a hefty load, even for a Moose:
Sidenote:
Wait, they actually issued P90s to the Secret Service? I though the SG-1 production crew bought up the whole line...
-
@Skyfire77 I could, and probably am wrong, but I heard the P90 is used pretty much for close quarter situations, urban environments, door to door stuff. Otherwise you get the longer rifles...feel free to correct me, anyone my knowledge on this, militaaroppo, is just academic, not practical.
-
@EssExTee You'd be amazed at how short of a runway they can land those on. I used to watch them go into a tiny airport near DC for touch-and-gos. They're mighty big. I'm currently working near March AFB in CA and they fly over my office all day...
-
@Skyfire77 You should assume that Secret Service has an SG team
-
C-17s can boogy. Rode one out of Iraq in 2008.
-
@EssExTee yesterday there was a C-17 and a KC 135 flying back to the west coast from Wisconsin right over MT! The C-17 is a bit sower than the tankers.
-
@Mr-Ontop The p90 is mostly used in situations where the user will be in tight quarters, such as a vehicle or a tank. The 5.7 cartridge is also known for defeating body armor in its "full house" original loading. Standard capacity magazines are 50 rounds. This makes it ideal for a VIP protection detail that's mounted up, and a much better choice than the previously used Uzi SMG.
-
@EssExTee You could be pretty sure it wasn't there to pick up a vintage motorcycle.
-
@bbg2d Also it's just cool
-
@EssExTee Can't argue that. I'd love to have one if the ammo was more readily available.
-
@bbg2d Agreed, bullpups make me feel funny in the best ways.
-
@Skyfire77 An AR variant is easiest, an AK is good but not super user-friendly, and bullpups require a good bit of training!
-
@EssExTee Well, yeah.. that goes without saying.
-
@bbg2d So, I was kind of right... cool.
-
@Mr-Ontop For door-to-door it would be alright, but not necessarily urban combat as it's a curious mix of short and longer ranges.
-
@bbg2d Sounds like it would work pretty well to me, but then again, as I said I have absolutely zero combat experience.
-
@Mr-Ontop Because of the lower powder charge and lighter weight projectile, 5.7 is susceptible to accuracy loss from the kind of crosswinds you would see in an urban block environment past about 170 meters/yards. 5.56 can reach out further with more kinetic energy. 5.7 is workable, but not ideal.
-
@EssExTee I've mostly slept on those.
