I’ve joined this thing called Twitter…

There’s this thing called Twitter, you might’ve heard of it, and I’ve scrapped my self-imposed ‘proper’ social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat) ban to join t Twitter.

I’ve been scrolling through Twitter for years, reading the tweets of those who I’m interested in but now it limits you to the previous few tweets (2 or 3) so I’ve had to make an account.

Thus far, I’ve followed a few notable people, sorted out the profile page (until I change it again) and replied to a few tweets (not done any myself yet).

If you want to give me a follow (and I’ll follow you back) for now it’s @GabriellaB_F1 (subject to change, this is the third iteration) and I’ll work out what to put on there - any suggestions?

I joined for the same reason. I couldn’t see all the Kansas City Chiefs stuff. But I’ll never tweet. How do people have the time for all this social media? It’s exhausting just to look at.

But I’ve found the James Webb telescope and NASA are worth following.

Currently I’m just lurking and replying to a few things but soon I’ll start doing something. Possibly promoting the business content somewhere else that nobody reads (but there’s no point promoting to four people and it would necessitate another handle change).

@Zymosan I will probably tweet at some point, when I’ve worked out what I’m using it for and made the necessary changes to my profile to suit. I only do here and Twitter now as social media and that doesn’t take too long to sort out.

@Gabriella I'm @365daytonafan on twitter but I don't go on there much these days, My advice is go to the settings and find the mute words settings. Regardless of you political affiliation I mute all political related words and politicians names, it makes twitter a nicer place.
