It's disturbingly necessary unfortunately. Not only for people considerably worried Trump has some control over the military outside the scope of his Constitutionally given powers, but also as a not so subtle hint to the members of the military to step in line top to bottom or to be prepared for dismissal/BCD/DD via the UCMJ (paragraph 4 is sledgehammer levels of subtlety).

@just-jeepin This really shouldn't be necessary. It's a pretty strong indication that they are worried about the number of who servicemen and women who might be buying in Trump's bullshit.
