All it takes is a big YouTuber to fill up a cold meet in Texas (Car Show Video)
-
Steve's POV used to live in California but then moved to Texas. Adding his name to the bill was a sure way to increase turnout, but I was surprised that 600+ cars signed up given how cold it was. It was freezing... In Texas. When the sun came up the temps went up a little but not much.
Fueled Up is a meet that I usually don't go to. The exit shots are sub-par at that location and they are a big part of my car show videos. Preferably without people acting like idiots, which is why I always try to find a spot by myself so I don't have to deal with people yelling GAS IT, DO A BURNOUT enticing car owners to do stupid stuff. This time I walked under a small tunnel, something I always wanted to do but never did.
It amplified the exhaust noises pretty good. And besides the Vette around the 14:00 mark things went pretty smooth. I was expecting the cops to kick me from the spot, but they left me to my own devices which was cool. All and all I was happy I went. It was a good day. I don't know if I will go again soon. I am willing to bet I wouldn't have that spot by myself anymore. And at that stage people will definitely be kicked by the local law enforcement. There isn't a footpath there. So technically it isn't a legal place to walk I suppose.
