@jminer So what is the situation with uploading vs linking? I suppose linking is better for your servers, but I am planning an image-heavy post next week where I'll be batch processing the photos so they are all the same size. I could host them somewhere, but it would be easier to upload.

@ttyymmnn Go for upload. I've got a max thread size of 100mb set, but if that's too small let me know and we can goose that up a bit.

The compression I'm using now is pretty space efficient, I'll be tweaking some things long term to make the way it handles images a little better as well.

@jminer I'm going to be resizing to about 800 px on the long edge. Much more than that is too big for the page, at least on desktop. How hard is it to force a size the way Kinja did?
