I had a case of the Monday’s, so I’m having a double of Duvel.

@interstate366 I was in the mood for a Brandy Alexander so I made one (minus the nutmeg, as my spices are pretty depleted at the moment). Also used white creme de cacao rather than the dark stuff, because it's what I had on hand.

@interstate366 Some Uinta Pack it out session IPA. They are decent, a bit bitter for 5%. I did just enter our DABC lottery though and am really hoping to win something even if chances are stupid low.
Since the liquor stores here are all state they have to sell everything at MSRP. This led to some issues with their "rare and high demand products" so now they do a lottery. This is what is in this batch.

I had a bit of Elija Craig on ice. Was feeling frisky, so I dropped a cherry in the glass. Noms

@ssfancy Ahhh, good stuff. The "original" bourbon.

Just ran out of cheap vodak so it's onto the cheap rum. By the shot, of course. Been binging Time Team (British archeology show) and Engel's Coach Shop (MT wainwright/smithy) on the YTs today. Too cold to go out and do anything.

FWIW for every shot I take, I drink a lot of water. Reused 20oz bottles with a squirt of lime juice in them. Maybe 1 bottle of water for every 5 shots. The well water here is delicious.

@powderhound Wait, Pappy 23 for $300!?! Where do you live and can you adopt me?

I keep buying Land Rovers because I don't have a problem and I can quit anytime I want.

@powderhound The Total Wine here in Houston gives you chances to buy the rare stuff based on how much you spend. So we bought all the alcohol for the holidays, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Never had any Pappy, I'm curious how much "better" it can be, since I've had some really good stuff that is under $100.

@bloody-the-resident-shitposting-saffer haha! There are two bottles up for grabs of the 23 year of you win the lotto for it. This is in Utah, really hoping I get some luck this draw.

@houstonrunner that’s a nice way to do it instead of just jacking the price up. I’ve never had anything over $100 a bottle. It would be interesting to give one of these highly coveted ones a try.
