New Civic Type R To Be The Honda's Last Pure Gasoline Car In Europe
-
Anyone seen a compiled list of which countries will prohibit ICE-engined cars by 2025/30/35/40?
Will be interesting is CA’s order stands, or is reversed by a future administration.

It's not always clear if it's banning any drive-train using only an internal combustion engine or also hybrids.
Also, keep in mind that Honda sells 10 times less cars in Europe than in the US so they are a small player around here.

@davesaddiction Here's motor trends musings on the R.. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2022-honda-civic-type-r-everything-we-know/
As for banning IC, I think it would be wiser to ban new IC only cars. and to allow Plug in Hybrids with a minimum of 30 miles. I think it would be wiser to ban new IC only cars. and to allow Plug in Hybrids with a minimum of 30 miles. -
@racinbob well it's the plan around here, at least at first not to ban used cars (except the most polluting ones from the most polluted city centers).
From what i just read, 2030 would be 100% ICE car sales banned in the UK and 2035 for ICE including hybrids in both the UK and Europe but both are not set in stone yet.

China:
The specifics of the plan state that as of 2035, 50% of new cars sold in the country will be either electric, plug-in hybrid, or fuel cell vehicles, and 50% of new cars will be conventional hybrids, which still run entirely on gasoline. -
