Tips on vetting a detailer? (especially anyone in Houston area)
-
The Suburban needs a detail in a bad way. Mostly on the paint side - the previous owner clearly left it out in the Texas sun quite a bit. The hood and roof have scratches and wear into the clearcoat.
I'm looking for a detailer that can do a full paint correction, polish, and probably ceramic coat. It lives mostly covered now, but I want to protect it as best I can against further damage.
There are some interior blemishes as well that would be nice (minor stains in the headliner, some spots on the dash), but those are secondary to the paint.
So - tips on how I find someone who will actually do a good job? Do I ask about the products they use (and if so, what are the acceptable answers)?
Anyone in the Houston area have a recommendation?
I can go off online reviews, but those can only tell you so much.

Adding on, if you don't mind...
What's a fair price for a full correction, polish & ceramic coat?
I know it's very time consuming...

@davesaddiction a fair price is into the 4 digit area. It takes time.
