@davesaddiction That looks like Forza Horizon
Also, good morning -
For those interested, Caterham actually has a really good configurator that lets you mess with any Caterham model they're making in this day and age.
I will now Caterham post.
-
@winterlegacy I own an R500. Yellow with black stripes.

In 1:64 scale. It's here on my desk.
And I have the LEGO one at home.
-
@davesaddiction As much as I'm not a fan of Caterhams, that one I posted in Acid Green makes me feel things.
As optioned, it also seems to come out to about £55,000 (at current exchange rates, that's $75,000!)
-
That's... a lot of money. But what an excellent grin machine.
-
@davesaddiction Subtle Dave, subtle...
-
@houstonrunner Haha - glad you enjoyed that.
-
@davesaddiction always get a like for caterhams.
-
I just hope I can make a Caterham/Ariel/Exocet happen before my back decides that's no longer a possibility.

Hey, if your back goes you can always get a cobra kit or something
-
@mybirdistheword Factory Five Daytona Coupe... [lust]
The cars I still want to own are definitely good motivation to get and stay in shape in the coming years.
-
@davesaddiction There really aren't very many cars on my Wish-to-Drive List, but something like this, or an Ariel Atom, I'd like to try.
-
Yes, absolutely! They are very much a "toy" and likely near-unusable for most automotive needs, but that doesn't prevent me from wanting to have one!
Would be awesome if one popped up local to rent on Turo. Hmm... maybe that's a side hustle opportunity... Purchase something like this and let other enthusiasts in the area help me make the payments?
-
@davesaddiction As much as I loathe Jeremy Clarkson, so much so that I gave up "Top Gear," he did drive an Ariel Atom on their airport one episode and 300 supercharged horsepower and a car that weights about 500 pounds and it looked pretty exhilarating.
-
@davesaddiction I'd like to rent a base-model Kia Stinger. I'm not interested in the souped-up models, just the base. It has a turbocharged four-banger that makes something close to 300 horsepower, if I'm not mistaken.
-
@rusty-vandura Way better than caffeine!
-
@davesaddiction I love the idea of one. But, $37500 to start, and probably high 40's or low 50's by the time I add a few options... just way too much for a toy. I know nothing else compares to driving one, but this or a R32, Civic Type-R, Mustang GT, used M2 or Boxter or Cayman or 911... I know which one would never pass the spouse test.
-
@davesaddiction That certainly seems a good morning!
-
@musashi66 Oh, for sure. I've always been of the opinion that my fun car has to be able to be used at the very least 2-3 days of every week. So that rules out a dedicated track car, and (in my climate) anything without doors and a roof.
But still fun to dream.
-
@davesaddiction must be super easy to slide that thing given those little tyres, and the snow. wave-out-the-roof easy.
